Who’s afraid of low temperatures? Continuously record for up to 150 minutes in temperatures as low as -20° C (-4° F). Action 4 doesn’t just handle cold weather. It thrives in it.
Battery life lasts as long as you do. The battery capacity limits have been pushed even further with Action 4 to allow 2.5+ hours of use. Capture entire adventures all on a single charge.
Stop waiting for power. Action 4 is the first action camera that natively supports fast-charge technology. In just 18 minutes, it can be powered up to 80%, which is enough for approximately two hours of shooting.
A new generation of intelligent stabilization algorithm fuels the most recent version of RockSteady EIS, which can successfully eliminate camera shake in all directions. It supports use while recording at up to 4K/120fps, providing a stable and immersive first-person perspective.
This smart stabilization feature helps to eliminate camera shake in all directions, and even horizontally corrects tilt at any angle. That means footage can remain horizontally level, even through heavy bumps and 360° rotations. In addition, you can activate HorizonBalancing, which corrects the tilt horizontally within ±45° and supports recording stable 4K/60fps videos.
Let’s go deeper. The camera body is fully optimized to be used at depths of up to 16 metres (52 feet), enhancing your underwater adventures without the need for additional accessories.
Drop resistant and hydrophobic. The front screen, rear screen, and lens protective cover are all made with high-strength Gorilla Glass, which is not only wear-resistant and scratch-resistant, but also 1.5-meter drop resistant. In addition, these three spots feature hydrophobic coating, which repels water quickly without affecting image quality.
A front touchscreen too. The front screen is convenient for vlogging and framing selfies and supports commonly used touch control functions. No more spinning the camera around for parameter adjustments, mode switching, or video playback.
When the camera is switched between horizontal and vertical orientations, the user interface adapts accordingly. The touchscreens are also sensitive enough to be operated easily with wet hands.
Intuitive control, even if you can’t see the screens. Short press the Quick Switch button and the camera will voice broadcast the current shooting mode. Even if the camera is installed on a helmet or other hard-to-see location, you can accurately select the required mode and be confident you’ll never miss the moment you want to record. You can even add up to five sets of custom parameters to the shooting mode list.
Remotely control your camera with just your voice. Ideal for scenarios where your hands are occupied, Action 4 recognizes voice commands with a high recognition rate, letting you stay locked into the moment.
Exceptional audio performance means more immersive results. Reception direction can be adjusted for more targeted and accurate sound recording. A hidden microphone at the bottom of Action 4 even suppresses wind noise, giving you more audio-recording confidence in windy or high-speed scenarios.
Action 4 is compatible with DJI Mic, which is portable, easy to mount, and features a transmission distance of up to 250 meters. Action 4 can also connect other external microphones using a Type-C to 3.5mm cable.
Action 4 can be used as a webcam for a more dynamic communication experience. Whether for meetings, classes, or just chatting with friends, easily switch between multiple perspectives and use the stereo sound for clearer conversations.
